How registration works

Registration with England Athletics costs £5 for each athlete. Clubs supply details of the members they wish to register to England Athletics. Once England Athletics have received the necessary registration details from the club and payment for your registration, a Unique Registration Number (URN) is allocated.

Athletics Services submit details of registered athletes to our membership card printers every two weeks. Your England Athletics membership card should be received no later than three weeks from that submission.

Your Registration number will be on the membership card that you are sent, it will also be available from the person at your club who keeps your details up to date on the secure club portal.

Once registered your URN stays the same from year-to-year. However, your club must have made an up-to-date payment on your registration for your registration to remain active. If payment is not received your registration will become inactive.

Most athletes should receive their membership card in the coming weeks. Should you experience any problems in receiving your URN / Athletics Card, you should contact –
