Big Results At The Big Half

This weekend was central London’s Big Half Marathon, and Havering ’90 Joggers were out in force. Huge personal bests on the 13.1 mile course for James Blogg, who finished in an amazing 1 hour 18 mins, Sarah Walia and Loretta Rehill, who claimed bests of 2:24 and 3:03 respectively, while Richard Bee ran his first Half Marathon.

The Orion 5 continued the ever-popular ELVIS series of races, with great results for H90J’s Clive Tweedie and Denis Mole, who scored an impressive first and second place combination in the V70 age group.

At Clacton, husband and wife team, Jason and Esther Hetterley completed the Half Marathon and 10km events.

Havering ’90 Joggers are back in action with training nights at Two Gables in Upminster Hall Playing Fields on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 19:15. Adults of all abilities are welcome – contact enquiries@h90j.org.uk for more details.
