Havering ‘90 Joggers had a great turnout in this year’s Essex County Championships, with some excellent individual placings and team scores for the running league.
Sue Spong, Kate Pettit and Jo Reeves all got 3rd place medals in the V65, V50 and V45 categories (respectively) for the season, with the team finishing a superb 6th place across all Essex and East London clubs, and top of the Havering clubs.
Placings also went to Lynsey Cornwell, who finished 17th in the V40 category, Melanie Green (17th in V45), Laura Kelly (20th in V50) and Lisa Gaskin (21st in V50).
The Men’s team also achieved great results for James Blogg, who finished 5th in the V40 category, Steve Constantinou (24th in V40), Stuart Allen (26th in V40), Dan Meredith (18th in V40), Adebayo Mabo (33rd in V50), Darren Radford (8th in V55), David Bacon (13th in V55), Brian Slade (7th in V70) and Denis Mole (8th in V70).
Well done to all our runners! With so many races affected by Covid this year, the continued turnout for H90J at races made a big impact in Essex events.
